Never before in recorded history have so many people had so much to spend on gear and gadgets for bringing the vastness of space to their back gardens. As committed users and abusers of such expensive toys ourselves, we decided that what we all need now is a place where all this lovely gear is put to independent, knowledgeable and hands-on scrutiny, to establish what’s really good value for money and what’s no more than hyped-up expensive astro bling.
